Lifetime Warranty

1. The Roebuck Lifetime Warranty applies to Roebuck Hand Tools and Spanners & Sockets only and is offered in addition to the Buck & Hickman standard Warranty/ Guarantee as set-out in its terms and conditions of sale.

2. Under the terms of this Lifetime Warranty Buck & Hickman agrees to repair or replace, free of charge, any Roebuck Hand Tools/Spanners & Sockets which prove defective due to faulty materials, workmanship or design during the normal life of the tool.
3. This Lifetime Warranty will not apply and Buck & Hickman will have no liability where the damage or defect arises as a result of:
   • wear and tear;
   • misuse or use for any purpose for which the hand tool was not intended;
   • mishandling;
   • poor, inadequate or inappropriate maintenance or storage; or
   • alteration or repair of the product by parties other than Buck & Hickman.
4. While Buck & Hickman is happy to repair or replace tools under the terms of this Lifetime Warranty, its liability is limited to the repair or replacement of the damaged or defective product covered by this Warranty. Buck & Hickman will have no further or additional liability in respect of any damage or defect and, as set out in Condition 15 of its standard terms and conditions of sale (a copy of the current edition of which is on the Company’s website at www.bhinone.com), Buck & Hickman expressly excludes any liability it might otherwise have for any direct, indirect or consequential loss, however arising, including in negligence. Unless the claim is in relation to death or personal injury resulting from Buck & Hickman’s negligence, when Buck & Hickman will not limit or restrict its liability in any way. All Roebuck products which are not Hand Tools or Spanners & Sockets and do not qualify for this Lifetime Warranty remain covered by the Buck & Hickman warranty set out in our standard terms and conditions of sale.
5. Roebuck products are designed for professional use. If they are being used by a consumer, that consumer’s rights are unaffected by the terms of this Warranty.
